Step 1: Recover your supplier code

After purchasing Woodbrass, you receive:

• OneLicense Code / Authorization Code(often 20 characters, of the type ABCD-EFGH-IJKL-MNOP-QRST),

This code is usually found:

• In theConfirmation emailof the dealer,

Keep this code: it is he who will allow you to deposit the license into your iLok account.

Step 2: Create an iLok account (if not already)

EastWest usesiLokto manage licenses: the license will be activated on yourcomputer(machine license) or on aiLok USB stick.

1. Visit the iLok website and create aiLok Account(User ID + password).
2. Validate your account via confirmation email.
3. Download and install the appiLok License Manager.
4. Connect in iLok License Manager with youriLok User ID.

Keep yoursUser ID iLok, you will need to enter it on the EastWest website.

Step 3: Create/login to your EastWest Account (Soundsonline)

1. Go to the official EastWest registration page:
   https://www.eastwestsounds.com/register/
2. If you do not have an EastWest/Soundsonline account yet:
   • Fill out the form ofCustomer Registration(name, email, password, etc.).
3. In the sectionLicense Information:
   • Ilok account: come inYour iLok User ID(very important: you won't be able to change it afterwards),
   • Life CODE: Enter itLicense codeprovided by your reseller.
4. Validate withRegister.
   • The license is thendeposited into your iLok accountassociated with your EastWest account.

Step 4: Install the EastWest Installation Center

TheEastWest Installation CenterThis is the application that serves to:

• activate your licenses,
• download/install libraries and updates.

1. From the confirmation page or your account, download theEastWest Installation Center(Mac or Windows).
2. Install the program on your computer.
3. Launch the Installation Center and connect with yourEastWest / Soundsonline account(Email address used in step 3).

Step 5: Activate the license in the Installation Center

Once connected to the Installation Center:

1. Open itHand Menu(Icon at the top right).
2. If you have anAuthorization Code 20 digitsComes with a DVD or hard drive:
   • Click onRegister Authorization Code...,
   • Enter your code and then validate (Submit).

(In the case of a reseller code already registered in step 3, this step is often already done.)

1. Come back to theHand Menuand click onRefresh Product Details/Refresh Product Listto update the list.
2. At the top of the Installation Center, open the sectionNew Licenses Available:
   • you will see the license associated with your product,
   • Click onActivate.
3. Choose where to activate the license:
   • your computer(Machine license), or
   • Oneby iLok keyconnected to your machine.
4. Validate: your product is nowActivated.
