IK Multimedia

To install the softwareIK Multimedia(like AmpliTube, T-RackS, SampleTank, etc.), follow these steps:

1.Create an account or sign in to IK Multimedia

  • Go to the websiteIK Multimedia.
  • If you don't have an account, create one. If you already have one, log in.

2.Download and install IK Product Manager

  • Go to the section"My Products"or "Support" on the site.
  • Download the softwareIK Product Managerto manage the installation and licenses of your products.
  • InstallIK Product ManagerFollowing the instructions:
    • Windows: Double-click on the file.exedownloaded and follow the on-screen instructions.
    • MacOS: Double-click on the fileby .dmgand drag the icon into the "Applications" folder.

3.Download and install your IK Multimedia software

  • OpenIK Product ManagerLog in with your credentials.
  • You will see the list of products you have purchased or trial versions available in the tab"My Products".
  • Select the software you want to install and click"Install".
  • IK Product Manager will manage the downloading and installation of the necessary files (VST, AAX, or AU depending on your DAW).

4.Activate your software

  • Once the installation is complete, the software will ask you for activation.
  • Please useIK Product Managerto activate your software by clicking on"Authorize"in the "My Products" tab. This is done automatically if you are logged into your account.
  • Some software may require the entry of a license code, which you will find in your IK Multimedia account or received by email at the time of purchase.

5.Set up plugins in your DAW

  • Open your DAW and make sure the IK Multimedia plugins (AmpliTube, T-RackS, etc.)are well loaded into VST, AU or AAX folders depending on your system.
  • You can configure plugin locations in your DAW settings if necessary (for example, for VST).

6.Product Updates and Management

  • IK Product ManagerNotify you when there are updates available for your software. You can install them directly from the manager.
  • To install new products or manage your licenses, simply go back toIK Product Manager.

After following these steps, your IK Multimedia software will be installed, activated, and ready for use in your audio projects.
