Universal Audio

To install Universal Audio software (such as UAD plug-ins or LUNA software), follow the steps below:

1. Recover your license code

Following your purchase fromWoodbrassFollow these steps to activate your product:

  1. Copy the license code:

    • Look for the license code you received from the reseller (often by email or on your invoice).

  2. Go to the UAD plug-in usage page:

  3. Enter your information:

    • Enter yoursE-mail addresswithin the field provided for this purpose.
      Important: If you already have a Universal Audio account, use the same email address associated with your account. Otherwise, you must create a Universal Audio account.
    • Paste itCode of licencein the dedicated field.

  4. Validate your activation:

    • Click on the buttonGet my plugin.
    • Follow the on-screen instructions to activate your product.

2. Download and install Universal Audio Software

  1. Go to the section"Support"or"Downloads"from Universal Audio website.

  2. Download nowAU Connectcorresponding to your operating system (Windows or macOS). This software includes:

    • Drivers for UAD interfaces.

    • Universal Audio plug-ins.

3. Install AU Connect software

for Windows

  1. Double-click on the file.exedownloaded.

  2. Follow the on-screen instructions to install:

    • The UAD software.

    • Drivers of your Universal Audio audio interface (Apollo, Arrow, etc.).

by macOS

  1. Double-click on the fileby .dmgdownloaded.

  2. Drag the icon into the folder"Applications".

  3. Follow the instructions to install drivers and software.

4. Connect your UAD audio interface

  • Once the UAD software is installed, connect your Universal Audio interface to your computer viaUsborThunderbolt.

  • The software will automatically detect the interface and download plug-ins and software compatible with your hardware.

5. Enable and allow UAD plug-ins

  1. AU Connectopens automatically after installation.

  2. Sign in with your Universal Audio account.

  3. Click on"Authorize plug-ins"to activate all UAD plug-ins you have purchased or obtained via bundles.

    • Activation is done online.

    • The plug-ins will be associated with your account and UAD hardware.

6. Configure plug-ins in your DAW

  1. Once installed, the UAD plug-ins will be available in the appropriate formats (Vst,Au,Ax) for your DAW (eg. Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Ableton, etc.).

  2. Check that the plug-ins are recognized by your DAW.

  3. Load them into a project to test how they work properly

After following these steps, your Universal Audio software will be installed, activated, and ready for use in your audio projects.
