→ Engraved or printed on the sleeve, back of the instrument or near the rose window for acoustic guitars.
→ Sometimes in the form of a sticker label inside the instrument.

🎹Keyboards, synths, electronic batteries
→ The serial number is located below or on the back of the appliance (label or plate).

🎧Audio interfaces, speakers, headphones, effect pedals
→ Located on the back or under the appliance. Can be preceded by "S/N" or "Serial".

💻Digital software or products
→ In the order confirmation email, invoice or written on the box (if box version).
→ In some cases, it is generated when activating the software.

📸Good to know:
The serial number is usually aSuite of numbers and/or letters(e.g., SN12345678).
